Challengers Track
Building Strength & Contest Readiness
Course Overview
The Challengers Track is designed for students who are ready to go beyond puzzles and into serious problem-solving. With a focus on combinatorics, number theory, and geometry, students begin learning contest-style mathematics and writing structured solutions.
Who Is It For
- Recommended ages: ~13–15
- Final placement decided after a trial class
- Perfect for students with strong school math foundations or graduates of the Explorers Track
What Students Learn
- Combinatorics (nCr, Pascal’s triangle, recursions)
- Number theory (gcd, Euclidean algorithm, modular arithmetic)
- Geometry (cyclic quadrilaterals, similarity, angle chasing)
- Proof-writing basics and structured solutions
- Contest-style strategies for multi-step problems
Skills Developed
- Deeper logical reasoning & abstraction
- Clear mathematical communication (writing solutions)
- Persistence with challenging, multi-step problems
Module Format
- Each module runs for 10 weeks, 60 minutes per week
- Group size: up to 12 students
- Students often complete several Challenger modules as new problem sets and topics rotate each term
- Price: 300€ per module (10 weeks)
Outcome
Students strengthen their problem-solving foundations, build contest readiness, and develop proof-writing skills — preparing them to thrive in further Challenger modules or, when ready, advance into the Masters Track.
